Healthy Brain Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen cauliflower, riced
- 1 Tablespoon coconut oil or MCT oil
- 1 – 1 ½ cups of unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 scoop Organixx Clean Sourced Collagens Powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon spirulina
Optional Additions:
- More lemon flavor? Add the lemon zest from half of your lemon
- Love ginger? Add in 1 tablespoon of grated ginger root
- Creamier consistency? Add ½ an avocado
- More nutrients? Add in large handful of spinach
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender container and blend until smooth.
- Pour into 1 or 2 glasses and enjoy!

Ingredient Highlights

avocado is definitely a brain food and the brain guru dr perlmutter also recommends acacia powder which I also add daily to my smoothie! the brain needs fat and fiber as you included!
I've never heard of using raw cauliflower....I would have thought lightly steamed would be easier to digest! but you must have done the research!

Do u cook the cauliflower before freezing or is the cauliflower riced raw and added raw?? Thanks

You can do it either way, it's your preference, or you can just find frozen cauliflower (riced) at your local grocery store or health food store.
